Shotokan Karate-Do Turkey Branch is a licensed sports body and has an official authorization from the Board of Directors of the main organization with its registered number 9193-33 dated 11/23/2023
It consists of clubs and sports and youth centers for public benefit specialized in and responsible for the sport of karate in the Shotokan style. It is a branch of the main parent organization and federation, which is based in the Netherlands. The branch office in Turkey is a group of athletes consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, and two members whose mission is to legislate and organize all karate sporting events at the level of the Republic of Turkey and the liberated north of Syria.

The representative and president in Turkey is the legislative president of the branch in the country joining the international federation and is appointed by the main board of directors in the Netherlands SKO.
He is responsible for giving permission to open Shotokan Karate-Do International branches in Turkey and is responsible for participating in local and international karate tournaments. He is the chief official trainer of the International Shotokan Karate-Do Organization in the Republic of Turkey and the liberated north of Syria. He is responsible for complying with the goals of the International Shotokan Karate-do Organization and implementing the terms and conditions of the International Shotokan Karate-do Organization in the Republic of Turkey and the liberated north of Syria. He is responsible and has the right to conduct the Dan Black Belt exams and the Q exams in the Republic of Turkey and in the liberated north of Syria or the branches affiliated with the Turkish branch from outside Turkey with the authorization of the main organization.
